Cakes

All cakes reflect two layers of cake for a total 4” of cake with butter cream filling; unless a single 2” layer sheet cake is requested.

My designs are grouped into three categories with Classic being the most basic and Exquisite being the most elaborate.

Classic                                       

Classic includes standard cake choice, butter cream filling, basic borders and detailing with simple timeless design.

Elegant                                     

Elegant includes standard or gourmet cake choice with gourmet filling, choice of hand painted butter cream roses or artistic flowers, addition of a quantity of detail piping work or custom fondant accents and borders.  

Exquisite                                                  

Exquisite includes standard or gourmet cake choice and filling, choice of hand painted butter cream, fondant, or gum paste flowers, and choice of stencil work, fondant draping, appliqués, pearl work or other custom design.

Preferred ordering time table:

Classic cakes, cupcakes, or cookies  –  3 day notice

Elegant or Exquisite cake designs    – 1 week notice

Sculpted Cake Designs                      – 2 week notice

Large special occasion (100+ svgs)   – 1 month notice

Wedding cakes                                  – 3 month notice

The lead time of your notice assists in securing your creation on the date you desire.  A signed contract for purchase will be required for all orders of $100.00 or more.  If a contract is required, a deposit of one-half of the contract amount will be required at the contract signing with the remainder to be paid no less than two weeks before the event. If the event is to take place within a two week time and a contract is required, then payment in full will be due at the signing of the contract.  Creation of cakes, cupcakes, or cookies with less notice than stated above will be considered if my scheduling allows.

Consultations and cake tastings can be arranged by appointment for all weddings or any order over $200.00.  At the tasting, you can sample your choice of three cake flavors and fillings or three cupcake or cookie choices for a $30.00 fee.  For custom designs, you are encouraged to bring objects of inspiration such as samples of fabric, ribbon, invitations, photos, flowers, pictures of your venue, etc. to your consultation. My goal is to provide you with a cake design of your dreams and for it to be as beautiful and personalized as possible.
